NEW LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT: California Skin Institute – Newport Beach-San Miguel

Welcome to the California Skin Institute team!

We are excited to announce a new location as of January 3, 2023: California Skin Institute – Newport Beach-San Miguel. Newport Beach-San Miguel is a practice with expertise in the full spectrum of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. A key specialty the office focuses on is skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. The team uses the latest available procedures, including surgeries, topical therapies and Mohs surgery, an advanced technique that preserves healthy skin surrounding basal and squamous cell cancers.

Edward G. Rohaly, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with over 30 years of experience, serving people of all ages living in and around Newport Beach and throughout Orange County. Dr. Rohaly completed a categorical medicine internship at the Naval Hospital in San Diego and served as a Medical Officer on the USS Cleveland, earning the Navy Achievement Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal. Following the completion of his military service, Dr. Rohaly enrolled in a residency in dermatology at the University of Southern CaliforniaMedical Center in Los Angeles. He’s specialized in dermatology ever since.

Samuel Peterson, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. He has published extensively on all aspects of Mohs surgery, lectured at national and international conferences, and has been an editor for several related medical journals. He directed a comprehensive advanced skin cancer clinic in Provo, Utah for 15 years before pursuing a family dream of living in Orange County, California.

Steven Daines, MD is an accomplished double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty and advanced facial rejuvenation including face and neck lift surgery. Dr. Daines devotes his expertise to achieving elegant, natural results for his patients in a warm, welcoming environment. An expert in an impressive array of surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation procedures, he is the foremost destination in Orange County for patients seeking personalized facial aesthetic enhancement.
