MaxG®

MaxG™ helps men and women reduce the appearance of unwanted skin pigmentation and lesions that result from sun exposure, hormonal changes or age. MaxG™ provides photorejuvenation of the skin through a targeted series of intense pulsed light (IPL). Given its wide range of wavelengths, MaxG™ can treat all skin colors and skin types. Most patients see improved evenness, tone and skin rejuvenation after their first treatment and continued improvements after a series of treatments.

MaxG™ is effective in treating multiple concerns at once, including pigmented lesions, age spots, sun spots, redness, rosacea, and spider veins on the face, legs or other areas of the body.

How MaxG™ works

For pigmented lesions, the targeted IPL therapy of MaxG™ penetrates to the deeper layers of skin where pigment resides, pushing the pigment to the surface of the skin. Once at the surface, the pigment sloughs off, leaving the skin appearing more even in tone. For vascular lesions, including spider veins and rosacea, the light is targeted to reach the redness beneath the top layer of skin. The light will narrow or constrict the vessel to reduce redness and capillaries. Simultaneously, MaxG™ IPL therapy stimulates the skin’s natural collagen production, which creates a rejuvenating effect.
