CSI Adds Second San Francisco East Bay Practice

California Skin Institute is proud to announce a merger with the practice of John Weiss, MD of Castro Valley, CA. Dr. Weiss is a board certified dermatologist who trained at the University of Chicago followed by a career in academic dermatology. Now in private practice for many years, Dr. Weiss specializes in general dermatology. This is CSI’s sixth merger of 2013 and second practice merger in the East Bay. CSI-Castro Valley will open in June 2013.

California Skin Institute Announces South San Jose Merger

California Skin Institute is pleased to announce another Silicon Valley merger with the South San Jose dermatology practice of Kent Carson, MD. Dr. Carson’s large practice draws patients from Gilroy to Silicon Valley and further extends the southern reach along Highway 101 towards the CSI offices in Monterey County. This is the 17th practice merger in less than six years and is the fifth merger of 2013. New CSI Location: Daly City

We are pleased to annouce the June 1st opening of our Daly City general dermatology practice. This practice will be staffed by Amena DeLuca, M.D. a board certified dermatologist, and fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon. This location bridges the distance between our San Francisco and San Mateo locations to provide better access to our patients located in South San Francisco and the Northern Peninsula. Under the direction of Dr. DeLuca, this office will offer the full range of dermatologic services.

New San Jose – O’Connor Location

CSI is thrilled to announce its merger with the dermatology practice of Harold Rodgers, M.D., a well-established medical and cosmetic dermatologist in San Jose, California, officially occurring on January 4th, 2013. This new office will become the second location serving the San Jose/Santa Clara area, and will become the ninth branch of the California Skin Institute. The office will be welcoming of all patients, existing, shared, or new, throughout the year. Additionally, this location will provide several new and innovative Silicon Valley technologies and procedures offered at other CSI locations throughout Northern California including laser, ultrasound, and microwave technologies that are not currently offered to Dr. Rodger’s patients.

New Monterey Location

CSI is pleased to announce the October 15th merger with the dermatology practice of Daria Maldonado-Knapp, MD, a leading medical and cosmetic dermatologist in Monterey, California. Drs. Maldonado and Morganroth will introduce California Skin Institute’s innovative Silicon Valley technologies including laser, ultrasound, and microwave techniques not currently offered on the Monterey Peninsula. Dr. Morganroth, a nationally recognized skin cancer surgeon will also provide Mohs Surgery for skin cancer, advanced facial reconstruction techniques, and local anesthesia cosmetic face, neck, and eyelid surgery by appointment.
