Michelle Longmire, MD

Michelle Longmire, MD is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Prior to joining the California Skin Institute, Dr. Longmire was an attending physician at Stanford University where she studied autoimmune skin diseases as a physician-scientist in the Department of Epithelial Biology. She has authored over 20 peer reviewed articles and is a leader in the application of technology to life sciences and healthcare.

Dr. Longmire offers comprehensive dermatologic care, covering skin cancer treatment & prevention, sun damage, evaluation of moles and skin growths, actinic keratoses, seborrheic keratoses, cysts, warts, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes and cosmetic anti-aging treatments including Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Juvederm, and others. She maintains an up-to-date cosmetic practice of leading beauty trends.

Dr. Longmire received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, and then remained at UNM for medical training where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After medical school, Dr. Longmire completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico before completing her dermatology residency at Stanford.

In addition to medicine, Dr. Longmire has a strong athletic background. While at UNM, she was a 4 year member of the women’s soccer team where she served as Team Captain. Dr. Longmire continued her interest in athletics as a Dermatologist, volunteer in a skin cancer education and prevention program while at Stanford through SUNSPORT. SUNSPORT educates outdoor athletes, trainers and coaches on skin cancer prevention.

Outside of work, Dr. Longmire has a passion for running and pilates.
