Jessica Chan, PA-C
Jessica Chan is a Master’s-level Physician Assistant who specializes in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Jessica received her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University Meridian Health Science Center. Prior to that, she held a Bachelor’s from University of California, Santa Cruz in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with non-scholastic interests in community philanthropy, in addition to academic research. During her clinical year, she received surgical dermatology training at the top-ranked VA Medical Center in Boise, Idaho along with general dermatology and cosmetic education in California at a well-established private practice. Jessica scored above the 90th percentile on all categories of the licensing exam, with multiple perfect scores in medical content, including dermatology, and graduated at the top of her class.
In addition to joining the California Skin Institute team, she continues to practice in Emergency Medicine, maintaining a broad fund of knowledge that only benefits her dermatology patients. Jessica has extensive training in treating various skin conditions, as well as skin cancers. She is a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is currently completing a Diplomat Fellowship through the SDPA.
On days off, she prioritizes her family and friends, explores the outdoors, is committed to improving her physical fitness, finds peace getting lost internationally, and is a former classically-trained pianist and violinist who plays recreationally on rainy days.
