Javier Molina-Duran, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology in Modesto, California. Born and raised in the community he now serves, Javier is committed to enhancing the well-being of his patients. With a focus on personalized care, he excels in addressing various dermatological concerns, from routine skin health to specialized procedures. Javier’s unique skill set, refined through comprehensive training and experience, allows him to provide expert guidance and treatment, ensuring each patient receives tailored care for their individual needs.

Javier earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus. He expanded his expertise with a Master’s in Infectious Disease from Universitat de Valencia, Spain, and a Master’s in Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from UC Davis.

After working in Emergency Medicine for several years, Javier found his passion in dermatology. He specializes in skin cancer excisions, refined through a dermatology fellowship with Mohs surgeons. Javier is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.

Javier is fluent in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, fostering open communication with a diverse community. Outside work, he enjoys exploring new places, immersing in different cultures, and spending time with his Golden Retriever, Luci.
