Zachary Goldstein, MD
Dr. Zachary Goldstein is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. He spent over a decade at the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned such honors as summa cum laude as an undergraduate and acceptance into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a medical student. He went on to complete both his dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at his alma mater, augmenting his training with rotations at Stanford, UCSF, UC Davis, and Boston University.
Dr. Goldstein enjoys engaging in academic pursuits, including the utility of technology in medicine, and was most recently awarded a grant by the American Hair Research Society to pursue his interest in dermatopathology and machine learning. In addition, he has presented at many medical conferences and has made numerous contributions to the scientific literature.
Prior to joining California Skin Institute, Dr. Goldstein was practicing dermatopathology in private practice where he continued to foster his passion for delivering excellent patient care. Dr. Goldstein appreciates his unique role as clinician and pathologist in providing patient care, and when he is not in the clinic or behind the microscope, he enjoys cooking, gardening, comedy, and of course, rooting for the Bruins!
